Foodista Food Topics

There’s a lot that we like about Foodista.com, the cooking encyclopedia site.  Like Hunch, it’s a collaborative project that believes in allowing everyone to edit content to make it better.  Foodista sources high-res food photos from Flickr Creative Commons (although users can also upload their own photos) and allows Foodista content to be re-used under a liberal creative commons attribution license.  Foodista even launched just a few months before Hunch did, so the two of us are practically growing up together.

The passionate foodies over at Foodista have also been adding some nice food-related contributions to Hunch.  Desiree (Fooddiva) has created topics relating to cooking techniques, juices, and What to Cook for Rosh Hashana, not to mention adding a bunch of interesting cheeses to Hunch’s existing cheese topic.  hpitlick from Foodista created (appropriately enough) a general Foodista Recipes topic. Given all their great content, we hope there is more to come.

Foodista has also had some nice press lately.  We appreciate their contributions to Hunch and wish them continued success.
